Admission Information

Admissions

We are open term time only for 38 weeks of the year and our high staff to children ratio enables us to offer that home from home atmosphere in which children flourish.

We follow the three school terms – Autumn, Spring and Summer.

Places are available for children aged 2 to 4 years. Government Funding is accessible for children in the term following their 3rd birthday. We also have places available for children that qualify for 2 year old funding. It is our intention to make The Wendover Pre-school accessible to children and families from all sections of our local community.

Sessions and Fees

Children will join us for a minimum of two sessions per week.  Children under three may attend all day if this has been discussed in advance and it is agreed to be appropriate for your child.  Each term you will be given an opportunity to increase the number of sessions your child attends, if we have availability.

Our 3 and 4 year olds (and some 2 year olds, if eligible) can benefit from Universal Funding (up to a maximum of 15 hours per week).

Some 3 and 4 year olds may be eligible for Early Years Pupil Premium.  The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is additional funding for Early Years providers to help them improve the education they provide for disadvantaged 3 and 4 year-olds.

You may be eligible for 15 Extended hours which would equate to 30 hours of funding per week (we cannot provide all 30 hours due to our opening times, but you can split these hours with other settings).

If you exceed your funded hours, or are fee paying, we have a schedule of fees which we review each academic year.

We offer varied methods and terms of payment of fees.
